Sonya Wilson was born in Tyler, Texas, and has lived with dogs her entire life. After earning a degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University, she taught school for three years.   During her teaching career, Ms. Wilson also began obedience training with her Labrador Retriever, Talley, earning several obedience certificates.

After moving to Austin in 1994, Ms. Wilson entered the high tech industry and was a production planner with a local semiconductor firm.  She has continued her interest in obedience training with the three newest additions to the family, five year old Penny, four year old Chance and one year old Lily.

Timothy Smith was born and raised in Richardson, Texas, and moved to the Austin area in 1991.   Now married, Mr. Smith and Ms. Wilson have participated in training and rescue activities together since meeting in 1997.  Mr. Smith holds an Associate's Degree in Science from Richland College.

Ms. Wilson and Mr. Smith have continued their education to enhance the operation of their dog daycare business.   They have participated in classes on Animal First Aid, Obedience Training, Accounting, Business Development and Web Site Development.  Ms. Wilson is currently working toward a certificate in Canine Massage Therapy.
